Disneyland Paris - 20th Anniversary

After three weeks of work and more than 50,000 folds of paper, the best origami sculpture of Disneyland Paris’Sleeping Beauty Castle you’ll probably ever see is now on display in London. Paper artist Paul Jackson used 20 different paper-folding techniques to create the 10-foot “pop-up” castle at the St. Pancras International station for the launch of the Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary brochure.
Origami Sleeping Beauty Castle Facts:
- Four weeks planning and over three weeks to build
- Over 50,000 folds of paper
- 20 different origami folding techniques used
- 5,000 origami bricks on the walls, 300 origami cubes, each individually folded
- The highest point stands at almost 10 feet

A friend of mine had given Peter a frame with a letter so Peter started READING!
It was the best experience, ever. So many times in the past Peter tried to read but never succeeded until Sunday. After he was done reading for a bit, we all clapped and he smiled at all of us …
